NXG Youth Motorsports Academy
NXG Youth Motorsports Academy teaches the fundamentals of performance driving using motorized go karts. Though this experiential learning is in motorsports, it is not only about competition. What matters is individual skill improvement such as hand-eye coordination, communication, decision-making and perseverance. Our curriculum can be aligned with Middle and High School academic standards particularly in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related subjects. Through partnerships with youth serving community-based organizations, schools and churches, NXG has instructed hundreds of students from Central Indiana and Southeast Michigan.
The NXG Academy consists of educational programs, or courses, scheduled between March and September. Both on-track and classroom activities are included in each academy course. Classes are typically conducted over the weekend. Each class serves an average of 20 boys and girls between 11 and 16 years of age.
