Designed for 11-15 year old boys and girls, NXG Youth Motorsports Academy offers five progressive levels of courses that use go-karts as an experiential teaching tool for driving, S.T.E.M. education—and life. Nexgeneracers practice decision-making, self-discipline, and other skills that help them gain confidence and understanding.

NXG’s instruction is aligned with core academic standards in math and science. Each course includes eight hours of hands-on training in the classroom and on the track. Classes meet on weekends from April through September. NXG provides the karts and safety uniforms for all the students.

The Grand Prix is a competitive go-kart racing series for select Academy graduates (12-15 years of age) who wish to compete in a controlled environment. Eight to ten rounds are contested seasonally, with a Driver of the Year and Champion recognized at the season finale. Events are often held in conjunction with the Academy classes so all Nexgeneracers and their families can experience the excitement of competitive karting.

All Grand Prix participants must complete the 5-levels of the NXG Academy and receive and invitation from the NXG Coaches.

Path-To-Pro is a racing industry development program for 16 to 24-year-old young adults—providing introductory opportunities for aspiring mechanics, engineers, managers, and drivers. We help foster career-oriented relationships between professional race teams and NXG graduates, including opportunities for internships and apprenticeships. We also help connect students with universities and technical schools for guidance in higher education and certification.

To apply for Path-To-Pro, participants must be enrolled in secondary education and higher, or working to complete a GED (General Education Development) diploma. Most participants are students who graduated from the NXG Academy.
