The Academy consists of experiential learning courses using go-karts as a teaching tool for driving, STEM education and application. It helps develop self-discipline, decision-making, and communication skills.
Designed for 11-15 year old boys and girls, the 5-level course curriculum is aligned with middle school academic standards in math and science.
Each course consists of 8-hours of hands-on classroom and on-track training. Classes are held Saturdays and Sundays.
The Grand Prix is a competitive go-kart racing series for select Academy graduates (12-15 years of age) who wish to compete in a controlled environment. Six to eight rounds are contested seasonally, with a Driver of the Year and Champion recognized at the season finale. Events are often held in conjunction with the Academy classes.
Path-To-Pro is a racing industry development program targeted to 16 to 21 year old young adults—providing introductory opportunities for aspiring mechanics, engineers, managers, and drivers. The intent is to foster career-oriented relationships between professional race teams and NXG graduates, including internship and apprenticeship opportunities. Connecting with universities and technical schools for guidance in higher education and certification is part of the program.
